Viele Wege - many ways...

"Man muss viele Wege im Leben gehen, bis man den richtigen gefunden hat."

Ist das so?

Vieleicht nicht immer, aber ich habe das schon oft selbst erlebt. Man hat einen Traum. Einen Plan. Den malt man sich in Gedanken aus. Bei jedem weiteren Gedanken daran wird der Anfangsgedanke weiter ausgeschmückt und die Vorstellung des Ganzen verfeinert. Und dann ist es soweit. Die Zeit ist gekommen wo alles so werden sollte, wie man sich das vorgestellt hat. ...

Und dann wurde alles anderes. Enttäuschung! Die pure Enttäuschung. Alles aus und vorbei!

Wirklich alles?

André Gide hat das mal ganz gut auf den Punkt gebracht: "Wenn sich eine Tür vor uns schließt, öffnet sich eine andere. Die Tragik ist jedoch, dass man auf die geschlossene Tür blickt und die geöffnete nicht beachtet."

Voller Enttäuschung steht man da. Unfähig nach links oder nach rechts zu sehen. Aber das Leben geht weiter, wenn auch anders, als man sich das vorgestellt hat. Manchmal muss man andere Wege gehen, manchmal sind das auch Umwege. Aber meistens haben diese Umwege auch etwas Gutes! Sie bereiten dich auf das vor, was auf dich zu kommt. Auf den Wegen zu gehen, die andere vor dir gegangen sind, ist einfach. Es sind breite Wege, ohne große Hindernisse. Aber die schmalen und stenigen Wege, sind zwar die schwereren Wege, aber auch die Wege, die dich stark machen. Und vielleicht triffst du auf diesem steinigen Weg oder auf dem Umweg jemanden, der dich begleitet...

Ich wünsche dir, dass du nicht zulange auf die geschlossene Tür blickst, sondern auf die Tür, die sich für dich geöffnet hat!

Irgendwann wird es soweit sein, dass deine Vorstellungen real werden - auch wenn sie etwas anders real werden. :)

Really?

Maybe not all the time, but I experienced this really often. You have a dream. A plan. You create it in your imagination. With every further thought you embellish your your first thought and you refine your imagination of it. And then it happens. The time has come where everything should be the way you imagined.

But it happened in a different way. Disappointment. Frustration. Everything is over and done!

Really everything?

André Gide did it in a nutshell "When one door gets closed, another one will be opened. The tragedy is that you look at the closed door and ignore the open door."

 

And you are paralyzed, full of disappointment. Unable to see with on the left side or on the right side. But life goes on, albeit in a different way than you expected. Sometimes you need to go different ways, sometimes a detour. But most of the time these detours have a good side. They prepare you for the things that are waiting for you. To go the ways other used before is easy. Those ways are the wide ones without major obstacles. Have you ever tried the narrow and stony path? This path isn't that easy, but is it the way that brings you along. The way that makes you strong. And maybe you will meet someone on the stony path or on the detour. Someone who is with you on that way...

My wish for you is that you won't stare that long to the closed door. Concentrate on the open door. That door is open for you!!!

The time will come when your dreams come true - even when they come true in a different way. :)
