Spuren im Sand
Eines Nachts hatte ich einen Traum.
Ich ging am Meer entlang mit meinem Herrn.
Vor dem dunklen nachthimmel erstrahlten
Streiflichtern gleich, Bilder aus meinem Leben.
Und jedes Mal sah ich zwei Fußspuren im Sand,
meine eigene und die meines Herrn.
Als das letzte Bild an meinen Augen vorübergezogen war,
blickte ich zurück.
Ich erschrak als ich entdeckte, dass an vielen Stellen
meines Lebensweges nur eine Spur zu sehen war.
Und das waren gerade die schwersten Zeiten meines Lebens.
Besorgt fragte ich den Herrn: "Herr, als ich anfang,
dir nachzufolgen, da hast du mir versprochen,
auf allen Wegen bei mir zu sein.
Aber jetzt entdecke ich, dass in den schwersten Zeiten
meines Lebens nur eine Spur im Sand zu sehen ist.
Warum hast du mich allein gelassen,
als ich dich am meisten brauchte?"
Kennst du dieses Gefühl? Irgendwie scheint alles schief zu gehen und du fühlst dich allein gelassen... Ich zumindest kenne dieses Gefühl.
Weist du was das Beste an diesem Gedicht ist? Es ist noch nicht zu Ende! Das Beste kommt ja immer zum Schluss! :)
Da antwortete er:
"Mein liebes Kind, ich liebe dich und ich werde dich nie allein lassen,
erst recht nicht in Nöten und nicht in Schwierigkeiten.
Dort, wo du nur eine Spur gesehen hast, da habe ich dich getragen."
Wie geil ist das denn? So allein warst du gar nicht in den schwersten Zeiten deines Lebens! Gott hat sein Versprechen nicht gebrochen. Er hat versprochen immer bei dir zu sein und dich nicht allein zu lassen. Er hat versprochen, es nicht zu zu lassen, dass du dich an einem Stein verletzt und dir auch nur ein Haar gekrümmt wird. Und dieses Versprechen hält er. Das erkennst du vielleicht nicht gleich im ersten Augenblick, aber nach einer Weile merkst du, wie dich Gott durch deine schweren Zeiten hindurch getragen hat.
Mein Wunsch für dich ist, dass du dass ganz tief in deinem Herzen spürst, dass Gott immer für dich da ist. Und dass er seine Hände über dich hält, um dich zu schützen, und dich auf seinen Händen trägt, damit du nicht fällst!
Vielleicht hast du diesen Spruch schon mal gehört "Du kannst nicht tiefer fallen als in Gottes Hand". Er fängt dich auf, wenn du fällst!

Do you know the poem "Footprints in the sand"?
Footprints in the sand
One noght I dreamed I was walking
along the beach with my Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints.
Other times there were one set of footprins.
This bothered me because I noticed that
during the low periodes of my life when I was
suffering from anguish, sorrow, or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord, "You promised me,
Lord, that if I follow You,
You would walk with me always.
But I noticed that during the most trying periods
of my life there have only been
one set of prints in the sand.
Why, when I have needed You the most,
you have not been there for me?
Do you know this feeling? Everything seems to take a wrong way and you feel alone? I know this feeling...
Guess what's best thing with that poem? It's not the end! The best thing comes always in the end! :)
The Lord replied,
"The times when you have seen only one set of footprints
is when I carried you."
How amazing is that?! You haven't been alone in the darkest times of your life. He don't renege on his promise. He promised to always be with you and to never leave you. He has promised to not let it be that you hurt yourself on a stone or someone takes his hand on you. And he keeps his promise. You might not see it like this at first sight, but after a while you realize how God carried you through the difficult times in your life.
My wish for you is that you will know deep in your heart that God is always there for you. And that he keeps his hands over your head to protect you and carries his hands under you when you are falling.
Perhaps you've already heard this saying: "You can't fall deeper than into Gods hands!" He catches you when you are falling!
