Lerne 100 Bibelverse auswendig
Du denkst dir vielleicht jetzt "Wie öde! 100 Bibelverse auswendig lernen - die spinnt doch!"
Aber hast du das schon mal ausprobiert? Das ist echt eine gute Sache.
Vor ein paar Jahren bin ich mit einer Freundin das Projekt "Psalm 119 auswendig lernen" angegangen. Und das sind mehr als 100 Bibelverse. ;)
Stell dir mal folgendes vor: Du bist in einer dunklen Höhlen und plötzlich kommt dir folgender Bibelvers in den Kopf "Ich bin das Licht der Welt. Wer mir nachfolgt, der wird nicht wandeln in der Finsternis, sondern der wird das Licht des Lebens haben." Da bekommt der Bibelvers doch gleich eine andere Bedeutung, oder?
Oder hast du schon mal ein total üblen Streit erlebt? Und bei dem dich jemand völlig zu Unrecht nieder gemacht hat? Jesus sagte ein mal "Liebt eure Feinde und betet für die, die euch verfolgen!"
Es gibt viele Verse aus der Bibel, die wir kennen: Das Vater Unser, Psalm 23 (der gute Hirte), 2. Mose 20 (die 10 Gebote). Die hast du irgendwann mal gelernt, zum Beispiel im Kindergottesdienst, im Religionsunterricht oder im Konfiunterricht. Diese Verse nicht nicht gerade unwichtig und weil sie auch nicht schwer sind, haben sie sich im Kopf festgesetzt. Eine gute Grundlage.
Darüber hinaus steckt die Bibel voller Schätze. Du musst diese Schätze nur heben.
Beschäftige dich doch auch mal mit Bibelstellen, die du noch nicht kennst.
Bleib dran und entdecke immer wieder Neues.
Du fragst dich vielleicht jetzt "Warum?". Ganz einfach! Damit du gewappnet bist für dein Leben. Für deinen Alltag. Für Herausforderung. Für tiefe Täler. Für lange Diskussionen (über deinen Glauben). Für Jubelsprünge.
Die Bibel hat etwas zu sagen. Etwas das auch heute noch wichtig und relevant ist! Etwas, das uns weiterhelfen kann. Das dir in deinem Alltag weiterhelfen kann. Etwas das uns Dinge erklärt und Türen aufschließt. Das uns zur Seite stehen will. Einen Wegweiser.
Nimm dir zum Beispiel 100 Karteikarten und beschreibe sie mit Versen, die dir gefallen, die dir was zu sagen haben, die dich herausfordern, die dir Mut machen oder die dir für Gespräche hilfreich sein können. Und dann nimm sie immer wieder raus. Während der Busfahrt, am Strand, auf dem Klo, an der Kasse im Supermarkt, im Stau,...Nach kurzer Zeit wirst du bestimmt auch ganz viele auswendig können, die dich dann begleiten und dir eine Hilfe sind.
Probier es aus und profitiere daraus!

Memorize 100 Bible verses
Maybe you think now "How boring? Memorizing 100 Bible verses - she's totally silly now!"
But have you ever tried? It's a really good thing!
A few years ago I approached together with a friend the project "Memorizing Psalm 119". And that are more than 100 verses. ;)
Imagine you are in a dark cave and suddenly the verse "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of the life." Now the verse became another meaning.
Or have you ever been in a totally nasty dispute? And someone put you down in a bad way? Jesus said "Love your enemies and pray for those that persecute you."
There are many verses from the Bible that we know: the Lord's Prayer, Psalm 23 (the good shepherd), Exodus 20 (the 10 commandments). You've learned them years ago in sunday school or in religious education or in confirmation classes when you were younger. Those verses aren't that unimportant and because they are easy to learn they are in your mind. A good basis.
The Bible is full of treasures. You only need to raise these treasures.
Do also concentrate on bible verses that you don't know yet.
Stay tuned and discover new things.
You may nos ask "Why?" It's simple. To make yourself ready for your life. For your everyday life. For challenges. For deep valleys. For long discussions (about your faith). For leaping for joy.
The bible has something to say. Something that is important and relevant, even today. Something that helps us. Something that can help you in your everyday life. Something that explains the world to us and that opens doors. Something that stands by our side. A signpost.
Take 100 file cards and write down Bible verses that you like or that says something to you or that challenges you or that courages you or that can be a help for you in for conversations. Take them at everytime. During a bus ride, on the beach, on the toilet, at the supermarket checkout counter, in a traffic jam,...I'm sure you will know some after a short time. They will accompany you and will be a help to you.
Try it and make the most of it!
