Gott spricht... - God's calling

Oft wünsche ich mir, Gott würde richtig akustisch zu mir reden - vorallem wenn ich beispielsweise bei einem Problem nicht weiter komme.
Oder ein "Bote des Herrn" würde mir sagen, was ich tun soll. Wie bei Philippus.
"Ein Engel des Herrn forderte Philippus auf: 'Geh in Richtung Süden, und zwar auf die einsame Straße, die von Jerusalem nach Gaza führt.'" (Apostelgeschichte 8,26)
Und wo ist jetzt der Engel des Herrn, der Bote, der Übermittler, der mir die Antworten Gottes auf meine Fragen überbringt?!
Manchmal bin ich einfach viel zu beschäftigt damit, mir zu wünschen, dass Gott akustisch zu mir spricht und merke gar nicht, wie er versucht sich Gehör bei mir zu verschaffen. Wie er regelrecht zu mir schreit!
Gestern habe ich Musik gehört. Lobpreislieder. Ja doch, ab und zu höre ich mir so etwas an. Im Prinzip sind die meisten Lieder christlicher Bands Lobpreislieder. Schließlich hat Gott die Musik erschaffen und uns geschenkt, um ihm damit Lob zu bringen.
Die Lieder sind aber keine typischen Lobpreislieder gewesen, wie man sich solche Lieder nun eben vorstellt. Lobpreis, was ist das eigentlich?
Ich hab mir Rend Collective Experiment angehört. Die Lieder des neuen Albums "Campfire".
Es sind keine neuen Lieder, denn die Lieder sind schon auf den vorherigen Alben zu finden.
Je öfter ich die Songs gehört habe, umso mehr hatte ich das Gefühl Gott spricht zu mir. Gott berühte mein Herz mit diesen modernen Lobpreissongs.
Das besondere an den Liedern des Albums ist, dass sie am Lagerfeuer aufgenommen wurden.
Ich konnte mir beim Hörern richtig vorstellen, wie die Band mit Freunden am Lagerfeuer sitzt, isst, lacht, singt und tanzt. Und wäre am liebsten ein Teil davon.
Und hier kommt wieder Gott ins Spiel. Denn die Lieder sind so authentisch gesungen, dass man seine Gegenwart spürt. Dass er durch diese Lieder zu einem jeden von uns sprechen will.
Gott nutzt verschiedene Kanäle um zu uns durchzudringen. Musik ist einer davon. Aber nicht der einzige Kanal auf dem Gott zu uns funkt.

Often I wish God would acoustically speak to me. Especially when there is a problem and I don't know what to do next.
Or a messenger of the Lord would say to me what to do. Like he did to Philip.
"An angel of the Lord spoke to Philip: Go south to the desert road. It's the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza." (Acts of the Apostles 8:26)
And where's the angel of the Lord, the messenger, the transmitter that brings me God's answers to my questions?!
Sometimes I'm just too busy in wishing God would speak to me acoustically so I don't realize how he tries to get a hearing. How he downright shouts!
Yesterday I listened to music. Worsip songs. Yea, sometimes I listen to that kind of music. Basically most of Christian music is worship. He gave us music so we can bring praise to him.
The songs haven't been typical worship songs. What's worship?
I have listened to Rend Collective Experiment. To the songs of their new album "Campfire".
The songs are no new songs - all of them are already on the older albums of the band.
The more I listened to these songs, the more I had the feeling God was speaking to me. He touched my heart with these modern worship songs.
The most special thing with that album is that the songs were recorded on a campfire.
While listening I could really imagine how the band's sitting next to the campfire with their friends. How they are eating, laughing, singing and dancing. Wanting to be a part of that group.
And on that point God comes back in the game. Because the songs are sung so authentically, so you can feel his presence. That he want to speak to each one of us with this songs.
God uses some different channels to get through to us. Music is one of these. But not the only channel he's transmitting.
