Hat dir schon mal jemand gesagt, dass du begabt bist?

Nein?

Dann wird es aber mal Zeit!

Fragst du dich jetzt, was deine Begabung sein soll?

Hmm... Da gibt es bestimmt so einiges.

Glaubst du mir nicht? Vielleicht weil du nicht musikalisch bist? Nicht gut zeichnen kannst? Nicht predigen? Und einen Schönheitswettbewerb kannst du auch nicht wirklich gewinnen?

Es gibt auch noch andere Begabungen! Vielleicht kannst du gut organisieren, gut zuhören, Gedichte oder Geschichten schreiben, anpacken, wenn es drauf ankommt. Vielleicht hast du aber auch ein gutes Auge für schöne Dinge, kannst du einrichten, dekorieren oder andere Menschen glücklich machen. Das sind auch Begabungen.

Jeder von uns ist begabt! Jeder, auf seine eigene Art und Weise.
Wäre doch langweilig, wenn jeder gut singen könnte. Dann gäbe es ja nur noch Sänger.
Gott hat einen jeden von uns anders begabt. Er ist ein Gott, der eine große Vielfalt liebt. Eine bunte Welt.

Er hat aber nicht nur jedem eine einzige Gabe gegeben. Vielleicht kennst du Menschen, wo du denkst "Was für ein begabter Mensch." Menschen, die vielleicht gut singen, Gitarre spielen und was auch sonst immer noch können. Und dann schaust du dich an und denkst" Und was kann ich? Wäre gerne genauso!"

Aber hast du dir schon mal die Mühe gemacht, tief in dir nach deinen Begabungen zu suchen, Gott zu fragen, womit er dich beschenken will?

Auch wenn es für dich jetzt vielleicht etwas komisch klingt, aber hast du schon mal einen Gabentest gemacht?

Und wenn du dann deine Gaben / Begabungen entdeckt hast, geht es nicht darum, sie für dich zu behalten. Damit ist weder dir noch anderen geholfen. Gaben sind dazu da, dass du sie mit anderen teilst, für andere einsetzt.

Teile deine Gaben mit anderen und entdecke, was Gott noch so für dich bereithält und dir schenken will!

Err... I guess, there will be some!

You don't believe me? Maybe because you are not very musical? You can't draw that good? You can't preach / talk very well? And you think you can't really win a beauty contest?

Be sure, there are some other talents! Maybe you are good in organizing, or in listingen, or good in writing poems or stories? Or you are good in going about to do something when you help is needed. Maybe you have an eye for beautiful things, for decorating, furnishing rooms or making other people happy. These are also talents!

Everyone of us is gilfted, talented. Everyone in his / her own way.
Wouldn't it be boring if everyone is a good singer? Then, there would only be singers!
God has gifted each of us differently. He's a God that loves a great variety. A colorful world.

But he has not only given a single talent to each of us. Maybe you know people where you think "What a talented man / woman." People that might are good in singing, playing guitar and what ever else. And then you look at yourself and think "And what am I able to do? I'm so ungilfted. I want to be like her / him."

Did you ever tried to look deep inside you to search for your talents? To ask God what he wants to give to you?

Althought it may sounds weird to you, but did you ever did a gift test?

And when you have discovered your gifts / talents, you shouldn't keep them only for you! So neither you nor others is helped. Gifts are there to share them with others, to leverage for others.
